13 Months Old

I said "A B C" again while with the Alphabet Pal. Mummy is so delighted.

I can WALK!

I can walk now. I will either put my hands above my waist or place my hands on my chest when I am walking. Mummy thinks it's so cute when I walk. Mummy always smiles when she sees me walking around the house. It's as if I have suddenly grown up overnight.

A B C

I opened one of my birthday present. It's a Leapfrog Caterpillar Alphabet Pal. I was playing with it when I suddenly said "A B C". Mummy thought her ears were playing tricks on her but Daddy heard it too! They were so happy & clapped their hands so loudly for me.
Thank You Uncle Nevin, Auntie Corinna & Sharnice Jie-Jie for this present. Mummy had wanted to get it for me too. Now she can save some money to buy diapers for me. hehehe

Xmas cum Nov Babies Birthday Bash

The much anticipated Xmas cum Nov Babies Birthday Bash is here! Finally I get to meet my Nov friends after so long. The last time I met them was when I was 6months+ old. We were still "sitting" around back then. Now we can all crawl. Some can even walk. Daddy wasn't able to join so Mummy brought me there alone. Time to blow the candle after singing the birthday song. I was trying to blow the candle although Mummy & I were standing quite a distance away.
Group photos. There were too many babies so we had to split. I was in the 12-15Nov group. If you notice, all the mummies were smiling at the cake while all the babies were looking at all different directions. Funny!

Uncle Marcus & Auntie Lilian's Wedding

Another joyous occasion =) It's my first time attending a formal wedding lunch, so I'm decked in my smartest outfit again.

My First Birthday Party!

My first birthday was celebrated with a bang with around 90 guests! The party is held at NTU Alumni Clubhouse - the place where I go to school every weekday :)

This is the invite that Mummy made herself and sent to the guests. Issn't it nice?


I was happily playing with the colorful ballooons on the dance floor before the guests arrived, and the aunties started to carry and pass me around like a baton until Mummy doesn't know where I am! hahaaha

I love my cake and cupcakes. I kept pointing at my cake :) And I managed to dig my fingers into one of the pooh cuppies when Mummy & Daddy weren't looking! I clapped my hands after everyone finished singing the birthday song to me. It's my gesture of showing appreciation to everyone who made my first birthday so memorable.

Mummy thinks I am a TV addict. This time she managed to catch me red-handed.

Shanice Jie Jie

Uncle Bingzhang & Auntie Corinna brought Shanice Jie Jie to visit me today. The last time I saw her was during CNY. Back then, I was not even able to sit and Shanice Jie Jie was still crawling around. Look how much we have grown! Now, I can crawl and Shanice Jie Jie can run. I think Sharnice Jie Jie has grown cuter & prettier. Dun you think so too?

Eight Months Old

This is what I can do at eight months old:-
• Says "mama" and "dada" to Mummy & Daddy (isn't specific)
• Crawls
• Go from tummy-down to sitting position
• Begins to understand object permanence
• Picks things up with thumb-finger pincer grasp

I am hospitalized =(

I am hospitalized due to gastric flu. Daddy & Mummy were worried sick. Mummy accompanied me during the 3D3N stay. She never left my sight. Daddy fell ill on the 2nd day, so Mummy was left with no help at all, even during the day. Poor Daddy & Mummy...

Mummy thinks I am a very good & brave boy. I didn't cry when the big needle for the drip was inserted into my tiny hand. Instead, it was Mummy who weeped. And I willingly finish all my medicines & allow the nurses to take my temperature with no fuss.

The doctor said my illness is due to transmission of bacteria. I must have gotten the bug in infantcare coz I was mouthing everything that I can see.

This is the chain of events leading up to my hospitalization:

9pm Vomitted in bed
930pm Continued to vomit a few more times until my gastric juice came out
945pm Daddy & Mummy rushed me to hospital
1030pm Saw doc & given medication
11pm Came home ZZZzzz
1145pm Feverish...Daddy gave me some panadol drops

Daddy & Mummy brought me to NTU Alumni Clubhouse for my first swim. I was abit scared at first coz it was quite cold. But I soon got used to it & kept chuckling. It was FUN! Hope Daddy & Mummy bring me for a swim soon.

Seven Months Old

Mummy brought me to meet November mummies and babies again. I caught up with some old "friends", like Ashlyn & Mischa, and met some new babies too. It was fun as I could sit on the table & watch Mummy talk to other mummies.
